The RCB skipper breached BCCI's anti-corruption guidelines when he stepped out of the players' area to meet actress Anushka Sharma during a rain break in an IPL match. Players and match officials are not allowed to leave their designated area during a game, as per BCCI's guidelines. Kohli escaped the offence with a verbal warning.

It appears that Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers will spoil Mumbai Indians' hopes?

Mumbai: Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians’ has set their target for Tuesday to end their winless jinx in the Indian Premier League (IPL), when they meet an equally-struggling Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) here at the Wankhede Stadium.

The defending champions has shown a very poor performance so far in the IPL, having lost their opening matches to Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Daredevils.

Injury seem to worry the Men in Blue as Australia’s Pat Cummins has become the latest in the long list of players to become out of the tournament.

New Zealand’s Adam Milne has replaced the Aussie who in fact played for RCB last season.

However, MI hold the edge over RCB with 15 wins out of the 23 matches played between them, while RCB winning only eight games.

This includes their meeting during the Champions League final in 2011, which MI won by 31 runs.

However, the defending IPL champions will definitely move ahead as they will try a turnaround.

However the hosts will have to be wary of RCB’s power-packed batting lineup consisting of Brendon McCullum, Virat Kohli, Quinton de Kock and AB de Villiers.

In the recent match on Sunday, Kohli had set up the stage for RCB to chase down Rajasthan Royals’ total of 218, but then fell short by 19 runs and faced their second defeat.

The top and middle-order should be a concern for MI bowlers, like  Mustafizur Rahman, Hardik Pandya among a few others.

Kiwi cricketers Corey Anderson and Tim Southee would be well aware of MI’s strategic plans, as they were with them formerly.

Meanwhile, captain Rohit Sharma seems like struggleing with form ending up with scores of 15, 11 and 18.

Overall, this match is very important, for both the teams, and a loss for either of them would raise questions of a top-four finish this season.

Michael Cohen, attorney of President Trump, faced raids at his home, office and the hotel room, by FBI. The Investigation is on to find out wire fraud, bank fraud, campaign finance violations. The  seized items are emails, business records, and documents related to several topics, including the payment made to the star Stormy Daniels.

Mr. Cohen’s lawyer, Stephen Ryan, confirmed the raids saying “Today, the US attorney’s office for the Souther District of New York executed a series of search warrants and seized the privileged communications between my client, Michael Cohen, and his clients.” He lashed out several hours after authorities began the investigation and accused his own Justice Department of perpetrating a “witch hunt”, claiming that the FBI “broke in to” Mr. Cohen’s office, despite having a warrant to enter.

Trump lambasted the attorney general, Jeff Sessions, for recusing himself in the Russia investigation, and continued to criticize the FBI for not investigating Hillary Clinton, “where there are crimes.”

“Nightmare” Bacteria

 Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria Found in 27 States.  More than 200 rare antibiotic-resistant genes found in 2017, and were labeled “nightmare” bacteria.  Dr. Anne Schuchat, principal deputy director of the CDC  was surprised by the numbers  found.

Report focused on the highly resistant germs that have not yet spread. Schuchat informed “Two million American get infections from antibiotic resistance, and 23,000 die from those infections each year”.

Some of these tests were done on antibiotic-resistant germs . The CDC found that about one in four had a gene that helped spread its resistance. About 221 germs were found containing an “especially rare resistance gene.”

Schuchat stated that a follow up screening showed that nearly one in every ten contacts tested positive, “meaning the unusual resistance had spread to other patients and could have continued spreading if left undetected,”.  It is yet to be found out , how frequently “asymptomatic carriers” spread disease to uninfected people.

The 221 rare genes  that were studied from infection samples in 27 different states, including pneumonia, urinary tract infections, and bloodstream infections.

Prince William and Kate Middleton has given birth, their third child, after the second child Princess Charlotte, 2-year-old.

According to the Act of Settlement of 1701, all brothers are allowed to jump ahead of their sisters in the line of succession.  It means that even if a girl was born first, the arrival of her younger brother would immediately move her down the list. Examples of the system, include Princess Anne, who is the second-born and only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II; When she was born, Anne was third in line for the throne after Princess Elizabeth. and her older brother Prince Charles .

 But with the births of Princes Andrew and Edward after her, Anne slipped down to fifth.

The Succession to the Crown Act was assented in 2013, and was officially put into place in March 2015 - just two months before Charlotte was born. This ended male primogeniture, making it possible for all royal baby girls to uphold their position in the succession line, even if a brother takes birth after her. The rule applies to all royals,who took birth, after Oct. 28, 2011, and means that Charlotte's place as fourth in line (after her grandfather, father, and big brother Prince George) is secured. The new baby Cambridge will be fifth in line, and Prince Harry will be sixth.

Some other changes that came with the Succession to the Crown Act- in addition to protecting the succession status of royal girls, amendments were made. These amendments now allow royal family members to marry a Roman Catholic and still become king or queen. Previously,it was not possible. No one in the direct line of succession could marry a Catholic and keep their right to the throne. This is because the monarch also serves as Head of the Protestant Anglican Church of England, which was established back in the 16th century by Henry VIII. Princess Charlotte will remain fourth in line to the British throne. The only people who are guaranteed to stand in her way are her brother George's future children.
