Prepare yourself by the advice, written hereunder for first-time visitors to India. As it is a very chaotic, insane, intoxicating as also a land of culture and diverse religion .

Travellers, who are visiting India for the first time should know that, India is a huge and diverse country, every other state is traditionally different from one another. People who travel to India for the first time, try to explore too much, in less time, which left them stressful and tired.
So do not rush to travel the whole country in single trip but explore each of the states in a planned manner.

Most attractive places……..Delhi, Agra, Jaipur.
Sacred Sites – Amritsar, Khajuraho and Gopuram temple of Madurai, Hampi, etc.
Fascination towards Mughal era – Fatehpur Sikri, Agra, Jaisalmer and much more.

For first time travellers to India it‘s difficult to understand, what to wear. Women need to cover her arms and legs to avoid unwanted attention, try to wear non-revealing and comfortable Indian clothes to make yourself comfortable.


 Always bargain with shopkeepers and hawkers before buying anything auto-Rickshaw drivers don’t take the fair rate,  so negotiate with them patiently .Always try to buy the goods from the fixed rate shop or from the government approved shops to not get scammed.



For the first-time visitor is very baffling about what to eat or not? Try to be stuck with freshly cooked veggies instead of meat, avoid salads and ice, used only bottled water for drinking by reputed brands only. It’s also good to carry hand sanitizer or soap and toilet paper with you.





Remain cautious, always, about your money and other valuables, Don’t take eatables from any other person, beware of pickpockets.

While visiting long distance destinations in India, travel by train. But, try to book the train tickets in advance to avoid last time chaos and hassle. Buses are also convenient, but for short distant places.
